NURSE'S KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF HANDLING EMERGENCY PATIENTS DUE TO TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS AT RSUD PARAPAT SIMALUNGUN REGENCY

Traffic accidents can cause loss of a person or disability as well injuries that require immediate help, such hard object trauma to the head which nerve disorders, failure in an organ respiratory and kidney failure, fluids electrolytes large quantities, bleeding, injury musculoskeletal system. Hospitals health care facilities have workers must be able provide optimal services, especially for patients who are emergency condition. Efforts services basically prevent death may occur. A study was carried out on 32 respondents (nurses) aimed determine level knowledge nurses about handling due traffic at Emergency Unit Parapat General Hospital, where this research is descriptive nature, uses totally sampling (the whole population), namely totaling people, using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires. After processing out, it found majority had sufficient knowledge, around 20 people (62,500%) good 6 (18,750%), less knowledgeable, (18,750%) based education, (62.500%) (18.750%).
